This summer, Federico joined the Green Silk Road<\/a> (GSR) Summer School <\/a>as an invited artist, contributing to the school’s collaborative and exploratory atmosphere. He took part in the school\u2019s activities and shared *Le Gran Jeu*, a game designed to explore possible futures, with the other participants. The trip has been done with the LOWEST POSSIBLE FOOTPRINT, traveling from Amsterdam via train through Germany, Vienna, Budapest and Oradea (RM) were he continued by bus, car and feet to the destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Return as well with a mix of train and bus (were train not available) through an alternate route that passed Trieste, Zurich, Frankfurt and back to Amsterdam. Takes time but time spent like that is beautiful and productive. The travel was sponsored by EUROPE through ERASMUS+ program, that we thanks, as we thanks the other co-organizers of the beautiful and useful event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Transilvania Federico facilitated two sessions of the game, where participants engaged in conversations about future scenarios, using the game as a tool for reflection and dialogue. The sessions sparked thoughtful exchanges around topics such as polychrisis, sustainability, human (and non human) interaction, and participants shared experiences of travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the school, the idea emerged to create a customized version of *Le Gran Jeu*, adapted specifically for GSR travelers. The goal is to develop a version of the game that can accompany travelers on their journeys, offering a way to think about the roads they are taking and the futures they envision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaborative work is ongoing, and we look forward to seeing where it leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
